The floodlight setting also has four different channels with a lower Lumen output than the spotlight LED. The headlamp can operate on its highest brightness setting for a maximum of 90 minutes or on its lowest setting for a whopping 150 hours! The HP25R can be charged while the battery is in the pack due to the special micro-USB charging connection, and you can even effectively charge the headlamp while it is in operation.
The light bulb casing is made out of a tough aluminum alloy that is treated to prevent weathering and corrosion and is sealed to be completely dust-tight and virtually waterproof so you can use it in the heavy rain or in the snow. The light casing is highly adjustable and can be tilted up and down by 60 degrees for maximum visibility and directedness.
Onboard reverse polarity protection keeps the hardware safe from unexpected reverses in current, and the aluminum body is constructed to disperse heat in an optimal manner.
